ProtonMail, the most secure end-to-end encrypted mailbox, updates dark web V3 domain
ProtonMail is an encrypted webmail service founded in 2014 by Jason Stockman, Andy Yen and Wei Sun, members of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). ProtonMail is now operated by Proton Technologies AG, based in Geneva, Switzerland. According to Ambrose Yen, he and half of the company are from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and ProtonMail's two servers are located in Lausanne and Attinghausen, Switzerland.
ProtonMail uses a combination of public key encryption and symmetric encryption protocols to provide end-to-end encryption. When a user creates a ProtonMail account, the browser generates a pair of RSA public and private keys. The public key is used to encrypt the user's email and other user data. The private key is able to decrypt that user's data in symmetric encryption using AES-256 for the user's mailbox password for the user's web browser. The public key and the encrypted private key are then stored together on the ProtonMail server. protonMail cannot decrypt the private key, so the ProtonMail developer cannot retrieve the user's email.
Last month, ProtonMail, an end-to-end encrypted email provider, officially confirmed that it has more than 50 million users worldwide. This is a notable milestone for a service provider that is intentionally not in the data business - it has chosen to base its privacy commitment on a zero-trust architecture, which means it has no way to decrypt the email content of ProtonMail users.
For its seventh anniversary, ProtonMail has updated its design with a cleaner look and a more customizable user interface - including optional themes (both dark and contrasting versions are included). And it announced that it has diversified its product offerings to include ProtonVPN and Proton Calendar, and a cloud storage service, Proton Drive, is scheduled for public release later this year.
In a statement, founder and CEO Andy Yen commented, "The conversation about privacy has taken a surprising turn in the last seven years. Privacy has gone from an afterthought to the primary focus of many discussions about the future of the Internet. In the process, Proton has gone from being a crowdfunded idea for a better Internet to being at the forefront of a global privacy wave. Proton is an alternative to the surveillance capitalism model advanced by Silicon Valley tech giants, and it allows us to put the needs of our users and society first."
ProtonMail launched its Onion service in 2017, which allows users to use Onion sites to connect directly to ProtonMail over the Tor network.Tor applies an additional layer of encryption on top of the user's connection, making it more difficult for advanced attackers to conduct man-in-the-middle attacks on the user's connection to ProtonMail.Tor also makes the user's connection to ProtonMail Tor also makes the user's connection to ProtonMail anonymous, so that censors cannot see the real IP address of the user's connection to ProtonMail.
To use our Tor hidden service (also known as onion site), you must install Tor or use the Tor browser. Instructions on how to set up Tor to access encrypted mailboxes can be found here .
Using Tor to access ProtonMail is optional, but in some cases it may bring additional security advantages. For more information on how ProtonMail uses Tor to protect your privacy, please see here .

MR MUSTASHE
We have a dilemma here!… I don’t “sign up”, “sign on”, “sign in”, “register”, “become a member”, “secure an account” or in any other way obtain a “cyber mark of the beast” to use, or to obtain any tangible or virtual item on the Net!… and I never will! And there are a number of webizens who feel the same way!
.
Now, that may be a depressing thought to someone like Jeff Bezos!… or to countless “cyberpreneurs”!… but, to me, what’s depressing is the thought of giving ANYONE online one’s personal info in the GUISE of keeping “the other guy/s” from having access to it!… and especially, in the “CYBERCOVID-LIKE ATMOSPHERE” of the “cloud”!
.
And so and thus, and to conclude… and, in keeping with the words to be found in the UN Report of the Special Rapporteur on the Promotion and Protection of the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression, by David Kaye… until, when and IF my communications on the Internet are GUARANTEED 100% ANONYMOUS, I have NOOOOOO INTENTION of EVERRRRRR divulging my identity to ANYONEEEEEE on this WHOLLY UNTRUSTWORTHY new toy called the Net!… and, that may remain my view until I depart this world!
.
H*ll, if the former Director of the FBI (James B. Comey) suggests that we should put hockey tape over our laptop’s cam, and the creator of the most powerful operating system on Gaia (Richard M. Stallman) doesn’t even possess a cellphone (let alone, “sign up”!), then why should I be otherwise inclined? And given the Human ICT Rights breaches happening 24/7 right around the globe… some of which, have led to the LOSS OF LIFE (let alone, personal goods!)!… then we should be more than “NET WARY”!
.
H*ll, I can’t even keep this site from stealing the spacing from between my paragraphs!… and I’m going to give it access to my personal info? Uh… NOOOOOO!
.
Long live GNUnet.org!

Ondarknet!… who breaks up words in comment like this? I don’t know of a site that does this! Very unprofessional! At the very least, you should divide a word by way of it(‘)s natural grammat(ic) order (e.g., by way of double consonants)!… and even then, adding a hyphen (save, for words that/ which are naturally hyphenated!)! And NEVER split up words like “at”, “of”, “it”, “the”, “way”, “this”, and etc.!
.
Even if this is done by accident through your Blog Comment Host, you should consider replacing it!
